Popular Nigerian social commentator, Isaac Fayose, has publicly accused Arik Air of selectively refunding passengers, sparking outrage on social media.

Fayose revealed that the airline refunded him ₦630,000 for a disrupted flight but claimed that several other affected passengers are yet to receive their refunds. According to him, Arik Air officials have repeatedly reached out with apologies, but he insists he will not back down until all impacted customers are compensated.

“Arik Airline refunded my money today… ₦630k. But they are yet to refund other passengers. They have been calling me to beg/apologize but I told them I won’t leave them alone till they pay all the remaining passengers. Arik pay others or I will go to court,” he said.
