The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed strong confidence in its chances of reclaiming power in Abia State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

A chieftain of the party, John Okiyi Kalu, declared that the PDP remains united and battle-ready, emphasizing its deep-rooted political structure in the state.

“As much as we are the party of Okezie Ikpeazu, we are also the party of Nyesom Wike. We in the PDP are fully prepared, we are not afraid of anybody, and we are returning to Abia Government House come 2027,” he stated.
